When does the draw take place?

The draw will take place on 13th January 2025. 

Is there a cash alternative?

Yes, there is a €300,000 cash alternative should the winner not want to take the house.

How do I enter?

Just click on the 1 Ticket or 3 Ticket buttons on this website and follow the entry steps. After buying, you will receive an automated email receipt for your purchase. This email contains your ticket number(s).

If I don’t want to buy online, is there another way of purchasing?

Yes, those wishing to purchase a ticket offline can do so by contacting a committee member of Mohill GAA Club or St Mary’s GAA Club. Those outside the County or not affiliated with any club can also contact a club official by email address.

Can I purchase a ticket as a gift?

Yes. If gifting, please highlight the person’s name in the notes area at the bottom of the checkout page. It is your responsibility to register the ticket in the name of the person you are gifting it to. This person will be the single point of contact for the draw. Receipt and ticket number will be sent to the e-mail address entered, you can nominate your own name or the name of the person receiving the gift.

Can a group or syndicate buy a ticket?

Yes, a syndicate can buy a ticket. It is the responsibility of the syndicate to arrange their own agreement and to appoint and register one person as their trustee for the ticket. This person will act as the single point of contact for the draw.

I have purchased a ticket online; will I receive an actual ticket in the post?

No. On purchasing a ticket, you will receive an automated email which is a receipt for your order.  This e-mail will confirm your ticket number. You may also receive a receipt from Stripe, our payment processing partner.

How many tickets are for sale?

There is a maximum of 49,999 tickets. This includes any tickets sold offline via our club units.

What if you don’t sell all 49,999 tickets?

Failure to reach our target will not prevent the draw. Memberships cannot be refunded once purchased. However, should the draw not take place for any reason, force-majeure or otherwise, full refunds of memberships will be made within 28 days of draw cancellation.

What are the prizes in the draw?

In addition to the first prize of the three-bedroomed house, there may be additional bonus draws with different prizes.

Can anyone attend the event?

Yes, we will hold a public event that will also be streamed live on Facebook. All details will be posted on our social media platforms in advance of the draw. All entrants are welcome to attend the draw.

Do you have to be present to claim the prize?

No. If you’re not present at the draw we will contact you with details about how to claim your prize. Please see our terms and conditions with further information on our draw.

When will the winner be notified?

The Winner will be notified within 7 days from the date of the prize draw. Winner will be contacted using the details provided on their entry. See terms and conditions for further details.

Do I need to be living in Ireland to claim the prize?

No – the draw is open worldwide to natural persons age 18 and over.

Are legal fees included in the prize?

No. Winner will cover all costs of conveyance and registration of the property as per terms and conditions on these pages.

How is the house draw being conducted and will the draw be overseen, by an independent adjudicator?

The draw will be conducted by drawing a unique membership number from a drum with all unique entries inside. An independent person will draw the winning entry and it will be overseen by an independent adjudicator. We also recommend you read the terms and conditions document prior to entering the competition.

If I experience any issue or technical difficulty when buying a ticket online, what do I do?

Please send an email to hello@winahouseincarrickonshannon.com giving as much information about the issue or technical difficulty you experienced. We will endeavour to respond to your query as soon as possible.
